Chile thus suffered their third consecutive loss in this discipline, with a score of 13-0 against them in a game that lasted one hour and 45 minutes.

The visiting team gained a significant advantage in the second inning, scoring a total of 12 runs, making it insurmountable for the Chilean team.

As a result, the local team has been eliminated, accumulating a poor record: they lost all three of their games and failed to score any runs. Chile will now compete for secondary positions in the later stages of the competition.

Meanwhile, the Venezuelan team also could not advance to the Super Round, so they will have to settle for competing for the fifth place.
