Female's Water Polo: Brazil Rout Chile in Their Second Match

A resounding 31-2 victory favored the Brazilian team, who had previously started with a triumph of 18-5 against Puerto Rico. The Chilean team, coming off a 35-0 loss to the United States, managed to celebrate their first goals in this match.

Tuesday, October 31th, 2023.- The Brazilian female's team, defending their Pan American bronze medal, achieved their second victory in the water polo competition at Santiago 2023, defeating Chile 31-2.

At the Centro Acuático of the Estadio Nacional, in a match belonging to Group B, the Brazilians had no trouble against an opponent that could at least celebrate their first goals in the tournament, following their 35-0 defeat in their debut against the United States.

The first and second quarters ended 10-0, the third 3-2, and the last 8-0, shaping Brazil's second victory in the series, following their 19-7 win against Puerto Rico.

The final match, scheduled for this Wednesday, includes the clash between the two best teams in the group, Brazil and the United States, which will determine the group's top spot. Today, the Americans won decisively, beating Puerto Rico 29-0.

In the other match this Wednesday, the Chilean and Puerto Rican teams will seek their first victory when they face off at 12:30 p.m.
