In Group A, Argentina and Venezuela finished the regulation four quarters tied at 77 points each, leading to an additional five minutes of overtime.

During this overtime period, Argentina emerged as the victorious team, winning by a score of 18-11.

In the end, the Argentinian team secured a total score of 95-88.

The first and second quarters were in Argentina's favor, with scores of 24-19 and 22-11, while the third quarter ended in a tie at 17 points each. The fourth quarter was dominated by the Venezuelan team, winning 30-14.

Santiago Scala was the top scorer for Argentina with 23 points, while Garly Sojo led Venezuela in scoring with 22 points.
