100-Meter Finals Stand Out on Tuesday's Schedule

The track at the Estadio Nacional will host the showdown for the ultimate sprinting event in athletics on a day when judo bids farewell and squash, basque pelota, equestrian jumping, and artistic swimming make their debut.

Tuesday, October 31th, 2023.- The finals of the 100 meters are a major highlight in Tuesday's schedule of the 2023 Santiago Pan American Games, where one sport will bid farewell, and four others will make their debut.

At the Estadio Nacional track, the female 100-meter final will take place at 8:55 p.m, followed by the male final at 9:03 p.m.

Other athletics disciplines awarding medals on the day include the long jump and the 5,000 meters, both for males. Additionally, the decathlon will continue, and the semifinals of the female 100-meter hurdles will be contested.

Judo will bid farewell to Santiago on Tuesday, while equestrian jumping, artistic swimming, basque pelota, squash, and male basketball will make their debut.

Furthermore, besides athletics, fencing and table tennis will also award medals. The action continues in handball, basketball, male volleyball, football, water polo, female softball, and sailing.
