Brazil dominates Puerto Rico in male Water Polo

The South American team began to showcase its credentials in the pool at the Centro Acuático at Estadio Nacional.

Monday, October 30th, 2023.- Water Polo made its debut on Monday at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, and in the male's category, Brazil demonstrated its credentials.

The South American squad had their first match at the Centro Acuático's pool, where they defeated Puerto Rico by a resounding 18-5.

In the first Group A match, the Brazilian team was led by the standout performance of Roberto Agulha, who scored a hat-trick, making him the top scorer of the match.

With this victory, Brazil takes control of their group, which also includes today's opponent, Puerto Rico, along with the United States and Mexico.

In the group's second match, the South Americans will face Mexico at 6:00 p.m. local time at the Ñuñoa venue.
