Sunday, october 29nd, 2023.- The United States had a dominant debut in female softball, defeating Chile 18-0. The superiority of the U.S. team was evident from the beginning. In the first inning, they took a 12-0 lead, with notable runs by batters Mia Davison and Dejah Mulipola.
The dynamics of the game continued into the second inning, where the United States increased their lead to 18-0, which would ultimately be the final score as the third inning ended without any additional runs.
The match between the United States and Chile experienced a one-hour delay due to the previous game, which saw Cuba and Canada playing a full seven innings (lasting nearly three hours).
The female softball action continues for Chile on Monday when they face Mexico at 4:00 p.m.
