Saturday, October 28.- Brazil clinched the gold medal in male's doubles tennis by defeating Chile. The Brazilian pair of Gustavo Heide and Marcelo Demoliner won 6-1, 2-6, and 10-7 against the Chilean duo of Alejandro Tabilo and Tomás Barrios.

In the first set, the Brazilian pair was dominant, easily defeating their Chilean counterparts. Despite the support of the Court Central crowd, the Chilean team couldn't find their rhythm and succumbed with a score of 6-1 in just 29 minutes.

The second set saw Barrios and Tabilo playing much more effectively, particularly with their serves and play from the baseline. They took the set 6-2 in 43 minutes.

In the super tie-break, Brazil took an early lead and maintained a two-point advantage, which they held onto for a significant portion of the match.

Chile managed to tie the score at 7, but Heide and Demoliner secured the remaining three points to claim the gold medal with a final score of 10-7. The Chilean team had to settle for the silver medal, while the bronze went to the Dominican Republic, which defeated Costa Rica.
