Mixed Doubles: Argentina wins bronze medal in tennis by defeating Peru

The Argentine pair, consisting of Martina Capurro and Facundo Díaz, defeated the Peruvian duo made up of Conner Huertas and Romina Ccuno to secure the bronze medal in mixed doubles tennis.

Saturday, October 28.- Argentina secured the bronze medal in mixed doubles tennis by defeating Peru in two sets. 


The Argentine pair, composed of Martina Capurro and Facundo Díaz, won 6-1 and 6-4 against the Peruvian duo of Conner Huertas and Romina Ccuno. 


The first set was dominated by the Argentine representatives, who imposed their game without much resistance. 


The second set saw a more even match, but a break in the ninth game proved to be decisive for the Peruvians and favorable for the Argentines, who ultimately celebrated their victory. 


The battle for the gold medal in this discipline will take place between Brazil and Colombia.
