Tennis: Dominican Republic secures bronze in Male's Doubles

The pair of Nick Hardt and Roberto Cid defeated Rodrigo Crespo and Jesse Flores in three sets.

Saturday, October 28.- The Dominican Republic secured the bronze medal in male's doubles tennis after defeating Costa Rica in a thrilling match. 

The duo of Nick Hardt and Roberto Cid won 7-6 (4), 4-6, and 12-10 against Costa Ricans Rodrigo Crespo and Jesse Flores. 

The match was closely contested, and the first set was decided in a tiebreak, where Hardt and Cid were more precise and won 7-4. 

In the second set, Crespo and Flores, who had lost to Chileans Tomás Barrios and Alejandro Tabilo, managed a service break to win 6-4 and force the match into a super tiebreak. 

The super tiebreak was highly competitive, and a break in the eleventh game allowed Hardt and Cid to seal the match with a score of 12-10, securing the bronze medal for the Dominican Republic.
