Thursday, october 26nd, 2023.- The Cuban duo composed of Jorge Luis Alayo and Noslen Díaz defeated the United States (Michael Webber and John Smith) 2-0 and will compete for the gold in beach volleyball at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.

The islanders, in a match without setbacks, secured their victory in consecutive sets (21-15 and 21-13) to earn a spot in the final, where they will face the winner of the match between Chile and Brazil.

Alayo was the most effective Cuban player with a total of 16 attack points, while Díaz contributed with 6.

The final will take place on October 27th at 7:00 p.m. at the Centro de Vóleibol Playa de Peñalolén.
