Brazil will face Canada in female beach volleyball's final

The Brazilian pair composed of Ana Silva and Eduarda Lisboa defeated the Americans Corinne Quiggle and Sarah Murphy in two sets.

Thursday, october 26, 2023.- Brazil will go after the gold medal in female beach volleyball at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games after defeating the United States 2-0 at Parque Peñalolén.

The Brazilian pair composed of Ana Silva and Eduarda Lisboa defeated the Americans Corinne Quiggle and Sarah Murphy with scores of 21-11 and 21-18, securing their spot in the final of the category, where they will face Canada.

The first set was very favorable for the Brazilian pair, who dominated their game against the Americans, leaving them struggling in the sand of the Beach Volleyball Center.

However, in the second set, the match was closely contested. Brazil managed to gain an advantage in the final points, securing their place in the match for the gold medal at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games. With this achievement, the Brazilian team surpassed their performance in Lima 2019, where they won a bronze medal.

In their pursuit of the gold medal, they will compete against Canada, who won 2-0 against the Argentinean duo.
