Thursday's schedule: female's volleyball, racquetball distribute last medals

On a day when no new sport makes its debut, both disciplines bid farewell to Santiago 2023. The track cycling, modern pentathlon, and shooting will also award medals.

Thursday, October 26.- This Thursday, October 26th, the action continues at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games with the eighth day of competitions. There won't be any new sport entering the stage on this day, but two disciplines will say goodbye by awarding their final medals: racquetball and female's volleyball. 

In the Racquetball competitions, both in the female's and male's teams, the finals will take place at the Centro Deportivo de las Raquetas del Estadio Nacional. 

At Arena Parque O'Higgins, volleyball will also determine its champion, which will come from the showdown between the Dominican Republic and Brazil. Argentina and Mexico will compete for the bronze. Additionally, Cuba and Puerto Rico will face off for the seventh place, while Chile and Colombia will contend for the fifth. 

Other disciplines that will award medals this Thursday include track cycling, modern pentathlon, and shooting, while activities will continue in male's soccer, field hockey, surfing, tennis, and beach volleyball.
