Wednesday, October 25, 2023.- Mexico was the big winner in modern pentathlon at Santiago 2023, due to the gold medals previously won in both the male’s and female’s categories, they added their third gold medal on Wednesday by winning in mixed relays.

The Mexican team achieved a total of 1360 points, securing the gold with a comfortable margin, as the silver went to the Ecuadorian team with 1335 points. The bronze was claimed by the United States with 1328 points.

Mexico opened up significant leads over its competitors in swimming and laser-run.

One of the disappointments was Canada, a team that had started strongly but gradually declined over the course of the competition, finishing only in fifth place.

On the other hand, Chile ended up in eighth place with 1003 points.
