The Chilean tennis player defeated the Argentinian in two sets on the Court Central del Estadio Nacional.

Tuesday, october 24nd, 2023.- Chilean tennis player Daniela Seguel (WTA ranking 725th) defeated Argentina's representative Luciana Moyano (WTA ranking 732nd) 6-3, 6-4 in one hour and 47 minutes, advancing to the round-of-sixteen in the Pan American competition.

With a great atmosphere on the Court Central del Estadio Nacional, “La Pantera” broke service once in the first set, which she eventually won 6-3.

The second set started off well for the Chilean, who quickly took a 3-0 lead. However, the Argentinian elevated her game and recovered the break, making it 4-3 on the scoreboard.

It was at that moment that the crowd played their 'match' by starting to support Seguel. The Team Chile athlete raised her game and won the set 6-4.

Seguel's next opponent will be the American Jamie Loeb (WTA ranking 284th), who defeated the Bahamian Sydney Clarke (unranked) 6-3, 6-0.
