Water Skiing: Canadian Llewellyn repeats Pan American gold

The North American skier once again secured the Pan American gold medal in the overall competition at Laguna Los Morros, repeats the success he had achieved four years ago in Lima.

Tuesday, october 24nd, 2023.- In the event that combines slalom, jump, and figures, the North American athlete accumulated a total of 2970.58 points. He was followed by the Argentine Tobias Giorgis with 2689.09 points. The bronze medal went to the Chilean Martin Labra, who achieved a score of 2671.83.

Llewellyn had finished third in slalom and third in jump, but his strong performance in figures allowed him to climb to the top position in the final sum.

This way, the Canadian athlete now has three medals in the 2023 Santiago Pan American Games, including silver medals in jump and figures.

Outside of the podium were the Argentine Patricio Zohar with 2219.51 points, the Chilean Matías González with 1581.22 points, and the Mexican Alvaro Lamadrid with 1553.50 points.

Earlier, Canadian skier Regina Jaquess solidified her position as the top figure in Laguna Los Morros by earning her third gold medal in the overall competition at the Pan American Games in Santiago 2023.
