The American team won the Pan American gold final with a score of 21-15. The North American team also secured the gold medal in the female 3x3 basketball by beating Colombia 21-14.
In dressage, once again, the United States claimed the team's gold medal in the competition held at the Regimiento Granaderos Equestrian School, located about 100 kilometers north of Santiago.
Dressage is one of the disciplines that offers direct quotas for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics. Brazil, who finished in second place, and Canada in third, secured their Olympic spots as the United States had already secured a quota in this discipline.
