Summary: Productive day with nine medals for Chile

Water skiing, rowing, and 3x3 basketball marked the best day for local athletes at Santiago 2023.

Monday, october 23nd, 2023.- Team Chile had its most productive day in terms of medals so far at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, adding nine medals to their tally. Notably, Emile Ritter secured a gold medal in water skiing.

The celebrations continued with Agustina Varas winning a silver medal in female water skiing, and Matías González (tricks) and Ignacia Holscher (wakeboard) earning bronze medals, resulting in four medals for Chile in water skiing.

Rowing contributed three medals to Chile's total, with silver medals awarded to both the female (Melita Abraham, Antonia Abraham, Christina Hostetter, and Victoria Hostetter) and male (Brahim Alvayay, Óscar Vásquez, Francisco Lapostol, and Andoni Habash) four pairs of short oars events, along with a bronze in the coxed eight (Óscar Vásquez, Marcelo Poo, Brahim Alvayay, Francisco Lapostol, Alfredo Abraham, Ignacio Abraham, Nahuel Reyes, Andoni Habash, and Isidora Soto).

Lastly, the Chilean 3x3 basketball teams secured medals, earning silver in the male event and bronze in the female event.
