Monday, october 23nd, 2023.-  Mexican diver Alejandra Orozco, who won gold in the synchronized 10-meter platform alongside Gabriela Agúndez in Santiago 2023, is excited about extending her successful sports career.

"I feel very proud to win this medal because we've been pursuing it for the last three editions. So it has a more special taste. It's a goal we've dreamed and visualized for several years with Gabriela (Agúndez). I'm thankful to the team that has always believed in us," she said.

This is Orozco's second medal in Santiago 2023, following her silver in the individual 10-meter platform.

The experienced Mexican diver has added medals from Santiago 2023 to her extensive list of achievements but is aiming for more: "I already have silver from London 2012, bronze from Tokyo 2020, and now we are preparing intensively for the upcoming Olympics. We are dreaming big, and what better way to do it than with this result," she stated.
