Brazilian Wanderley de Souza advances to the semifinals in male boxing

Boxing delivered intense matches during Monday afternoon at the CEO.

Monday, october 23nd, 2023.- Boxing had an intense day at the Pan American Games on Monday. In one of the standout matches of the day, Brazilian Wanderley de Souza was one of the main figures, securing a solid 5-0 victory over the Dominican Cristian Pinales.

De Souza dominated his opponent completely in the 80-kilogram category, and the judges unanimously awarded him the victory to advance to the semifinals.

In the same category, Haitian Cedrick Belony defeated Brazilian Antonio Cox.
