Monday, october 23nd, 2023.- Boxing had an intense day at the Pan American Games on Monday. In one of the standout matches of the day, Brazilian Wanderley de Souza was one of the main figures, securing a solid 5-0 victory over the Dominican Cristian Pinales.

De Souza dominated his opponent completely in the 80-kilogram category, and the judges unanimously awarded him the victory to advance to the semifinals.

In the same category, Haitian Cedrick Belony defeated Brazilian Antonio Cox.

In another bout during the intense boxing night, Dominican Jose de los Santos won 5-0 against Ecuadorian Jean Caicedo in the 57-kilogram category.
