Diving brings joy to Mexico and Canada in Santiago 2023

This Sunday, medals were awarded in the synchronized 10-meter men's platform and the 1-meter women's springboard disciplines.

Sunday, October 22nd.- One of the countries with high hopes for diving at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago is Mexico, and this Sunday they succeeded at the Centro Acuático del Estadio Nacional. 

The Mexicans excelled in the synchronized 10-meter men's platform event. Randal Willars and Kevin Berlín claimed the gold medal with a total score of 419.94 points. 

The silver medal went to the Canadian pair of Nathan Zsombor-Murray and Rylan Wiens, who accumulated 404.04 points, while the bronze was earned by the Colombian team of Sebastián Villa and Alejandro Solarte, with 383.19 points. 

Diving events concluded with the 1-meter women's springboard, and the gold medal went to the Canadian Pamela Ware, who scored 280.25 points. 

Ware was joined on the podium by her compatriot Mia Valée, who scored 272.30 points, and by the American Hailey Hernández, with 261.75 points.
