Saturday, Oct 21st.- Mexico closed the diving competion with another gold medal, this time in the male's one-meter category, thanks to the victory of Osmar Olvera.
The Mexican athlete, with a score of 424.70, the best in all six rounds, receiving a very high rating from the 10 judges.
The silver medal went to the Dominican Jonathan Ruvalcaba, who scored 384.90, and the bronze to the Colombian Luis Uribe, with 371.20 points.
Chile's representative, Donato Neglia, also competed in this category, and despite his great effort, he couldn't secure a medal, finishing ninth with a score of 336.15.
With this, Mexico ended the day at the Centro Acuático of Estadio Nacional in a dreamlike fashion in diving, as they also won gold and silver in the female's 10-meter platform.
It's worth noting that the Centro Acuático had a large audience that cheered for each of the competitors' performances.
