Brazil added another gold in men's skateboarding street

Lucas Rabello from Brazil claimed the gold medal in the male skateboarding street competition at the Pan American Games, held at the Explanada de Deportes Urbanos del Estadio Nacional.

Rabello, with an outstanding performance, achieved a total score of 264.45 points, accumulating 275 points in the first stage and ratifying his power in the tricks to take first place.

The silver medal went to the Peruvian Angelo Caro with 256.80 points, while the bronze was earned by the Colombian Jhancarlos González with 247.82 points.

Ronald Ramírez was the sole representative in skateboarding street for Team Chile and finished in sixth place with an average of 169.18 points, particularly excelling in his presentation of tricks.

Skateboarding as a discipline made its debut at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing 2014, and in 2020, it had its first appearance at the Tokyo Olympics. Now, it has been added to the Pan American Games for the first time.

The skateboarding competition concludes tomorrow with the park category, also taking place at the Explanada de Deportes Urbanos del Estadio Nacional.
