Santiago 2023 won the award for the best new brand in Chile

The organizer of the next Pan American and Parapan American Games won in its category in the first Best Branding Awards in the country.

Huge news received the Santiago 2023 Corporation. After a registry and selection period, and placed among the finalists, it was chosen as one of the winner in the Best Branding Awards 2021, contest performed to highlight brand strategies and actions from national enterprises, promoting the marketing professional development in the period January 2018 to October 2021.

The contest, organized by Grupo Valora, awarded the organized of the next Pan American and Parapan American Games in the category “Best New Brand / Brand Strategy”, understood as a case of new concept creation, giving value to the construction from the strategy to the design and its implementation.

“We are happy to have participated and won this important contest that brings together the best brands in the country, and it confirms that we are on the right path with the developed work, we are well positions, but there is still a lot to be done”, expressed the CEO of Santiago 2023, Felipe De Pablo.

The brand of this multisport event, the most important one our country has ever received after the Football World Cup in 1962, it was developed by b2o agency in 2019, and from its launch until today it has been present in several platforms, including activities on-site in Santiago and the rest of the country.

“This acknowledgement fills us with pride and motivates us to continue working hard to develop Games of excellence, considering about every detail to satisfy all athletes, audience, and sponsors needs”, added Juan Carlos Chamy, Director for the Commercial and Marketing in Santiago 2023.

The contest award, which will be held at Espacio Riesco event centre, on Tuesday, November 30th, had the participation of companies like Nestlé, TVN, Polpaico, Cencosud, VSPT, Wine Group, Banco Santander, among others, and the winners were decided by a multidisciplinary jury formed by executives, directors, board members and academic professionals of the industry.
